Opera
is, frankly, expensive. *
How
can you help?
- Donate funds: mail your tax-deductable donation to:
Longwood
Opera
42 Hawthorn Ave.
Needham, MA 02492-3806
-
Give your employer a chance to donate through a Matching
Grant:
We
receive matching grant funds from GE, IBM, John Hancock, Verizon,
and The Home Depot. There's where you and
your company take the stage!
If
you are an employee of:
GE
IBM
John Hancock
Verizon
The Home Depot
and
you would like to participate in this opportunity to see your
donation doubled, contact us at
Corporate_grants@LongwoodOpera.org
and
tell us which company you work for. |
If
you would like to see your own company take part in
this opportunity to help the arts, ask your administrators
to contact us at
Corporate_grants@LongwoodOpera.org
and
sign up to provide matching funds. That way, any gift you
give to Longwood can be doubled by your company's donation.
Tell them what a great tax write-off they'll be getting! Tell
them about the great cause they're supporting! |
Tell
your company that you, and they, have become
Stars of Longwood Opera! |
Of
course, we are happy to accept un-doubled donations.

If
you're looking for sheet music, we recommend Sheet
Music Plus. They have the world's largest selection, guaranteed
low prices, and great customer service. And every time you buy from
them through this link, you are donating
to Longwood Opera! |
 |
| In
the interest of Opera For All,
we don't charge down-town prices for tickets -
our top price
is $23.
But, even with our usual sold-out houses, that doesn't bring
in enough to make it possible for us to put on our full productions,
which include singers, accompanists, costumes, sets, props,
programs - not to mention a stage, as well as chairs for an
audience!
(Maybe some day we'll be able to afford
a curtain.) |
